Camping de Castres à Gourjade

Near the Haut Languedoc Regional Park and the Montagne Noire, the Camping de Gourjade *** is ideally situated for visits to some of the most beautiful places of interest in the region (Carcassonne, Toulouse, Albi).

The campsite is situated in the heart of 100 acre park, on the banks of the river Agout, 2.5 Km from the town of Castres. Free bus or taxi-boat in summer to get the center-town.
There are 100 spacious places for tents, caravans or motorhomes, each bordered by hedges for peace and privacy, as well as bungalows and mobilhomes for rent.
Sunny or cool and shaded sites, on the river bank, you will have the choice!
Near by are modern "all comfort" sanitary facilities:
Washer, tumble-dryer, cabins for children and handicapped persons.


The restaurant-bar welcomes you throughout the day and proposes a variety of menues, Salads, grill, menus 16€, 19.50€ and 23€, children menu 7.50€. Summer terrace, , all with a superb view over Gourjade Park

The green and wooded countryside of Gourjade Park which surrounds the campsite, will enchant you with its landscapes and with the variety of activities which it offers its visitors.

The sports center with swimming pools and aquatic games is a short walk over the bridge which spans the river. There is also horse riding, tennis, paddle, tenpin bowling, ice skating...(preferential rates for campers).

Open all year long, the golf course welcomes visitors and provides other leisure activities: mini-golf, archery, ping-pong, skateboard and pleasant footpaths with picnic areas for stolls and and mountainbiking
